Mr. Fakoya Samuel was born 60 years ago to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Samson Fakoya-Ayoola in Ijebu North local Government area of Ogun State.
He had his elementary education at Peoples’ primary School, Ring Road, Ibadan and his secondary education at Beje High School, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State. He graduated from the Polytechnic, Ibadan (Banking & Finance) in 1987.
Samuel joined BDO Binder Balogun Badejo & Co, an international firm of Chartered Accountants, Lagos as audit trainee in 1990. He was a semi-qualified senior trainee before he joined the employment of Adegoke Group, Ibadan in 1994 as assistant accountant.
"As a young, strong, and articulate professional who integrates rapidly into new environments and establishes stable, positive interpersonal relationships at all levels, he was promoted to the position of Finance & Logistics Manager in one of the subsidiaries of the group of companies when he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1997."
Mr. Fakoya joined the services of Galaxy Television, Oke Are, Ibadan in 1998 as the pioneer Chief Finance Officer of the station, a year after qualifying as a chartered accountant. He obtained his post-graduate degree (MBA) from Ekiti State University in 2004.
Mr. Fakoya, a professional person, committed to upholding the corporate ethics through the achievement of high standards and delivery of excellent performance, joined the employment of Poly Products Plc, Lagos in year 2000 as internal auditor. He became the Chief internal auditor of Sango-Ota plant of the company before he moved on to Josepdam group, Lagos in 2011 as the group internal audit manager. He is a leader, a doer, mover of people, capable of getting things done in a timely manner.
Mr. Fakoya, a focused, goal oriented and result-driven fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria with excellent organizational skills was made the group head of internal audit at Reliable Steel and plastic industries ltd, Onitsha, Anambra State in 2021.
His professional impacts at other organizations such as Dayntee farms ltd and Neveah limited, Abuja where he was made the Chief compliance officer in January, 2024 could never be erased
He is a sound investigative professional talented in unravelling complex mysteries.
In August, 2025, Mr. Fakoya joined Okitipupa oil palm plc as the internal audit, control, compliance and risk manager. He has been exhibiting high sense of professionalism in the formulation and enforcement of sound internal control in the company. He is always ready to face meaningful challenges in the course of discharging his tasks.
Mr Fakoya Samuel has attended some international conferences such as the international London book fair, and seminars including Trainings and workshops.
He is a member and fellow of some professional bodies including the institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria, Institute of internal auditors, Council of Centre for Public Service productivity and development.
He is an ordained elder in Christ Apostolic Church. Mr. Fakoya -Ayoola is happily married with children.
