Mr Taiwo Adewole, a Human Resources Manager an Administrator And An Agricultural Expert. has bagged an award of Excellence in Human Capacity and Leadership Development as Distinguished 2021 SUPERLATIVE ADMINISTRATIVE CAPABILITY AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
Mr Taiwo Adewole is an agriculturist, administrator, technocrat, Certified Travel Demand Management expert Vehicle Fleet Management and Logistics Consultant. and a Certified Equipment Leasing practitioner, was born about 57 years ago to the noble family of Mr & Mrs Patrick Olorunfemi Adewole in Owo, Ondo State.
The awards tagged ONDO STATE OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE which was presented to him in his office at Okitipupa Oil palm Plc, Okitipupa, OndoState. It was organised by the most award winning platform and an Outstanding media organization in Nigeria, the Hero Magazine Intl and the Ondo State Outstanding Leadership Awards Platform.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Taiwo Adewole thanked the Organizer’s of the event for the honour done him with a resolve to continue to commit to excellence in leadership and service delivery in all ramifications.
According to the Organizer’s of the award, the Chairman of the Platform and Publisher of Hero magazine international, Dr Akinbiola Sunday, Said the award was conferred on this Icon based on his contributions to human Capacity development , Youth empowerment and selfless service to humanity and especially in turning an over 27 years moribund company to a place of Eldorado.
According to the Organizer’, investigation reveals that Adewole since April 2018 had successfully led a historic Turnaround of OOP PLC and only June 2020 held its first AGM in about 14 years, paid land-owners who were paid last about 31 years ago then, and more importantly he paid dividends , first ever dividend to share-holders in 27 years and Moreover, he is working hard to return the company back to the Stock Exchange after its expulsion more than a decade ago.
Under the leadership of Taiwo, a regime of transparency, accountability, cash-less policy, integrity, openness and fiscal discipline has been institutionalized in the company to stem the bleeding that went on unabated for decades, introduced an innovative Business Operations Model that has resulted in a significant cost reduction and improved revenue significantly while also brought the processing infrastructure in the company back to life. Today OOP plc is now producing, processing and selling Oil {Red Gold} which stopped over 20 years ago.
This Personality has been seen to have excelled in his fields of endeavor and by all standards deserve to be honoured. This noble award platform does annually seek to celebrate excellence, positive personal accomplishments and to encourage Ondo State men and women either by birth, marriage or naturalization, and those who through their service have positively impacted and stood out in their chosen profession to continue to soar higher and contribute their quota towards the development of our dear state and Nigeria at large.
Presenting the award to the beneficiary , Pastor Segun Ayerin , A community Leader in the LG government, a seasoned grassrootsPolitician, said Mr Adewole has recorded a very good achievements in all areas of his endeavour. His selfless service is second to none and his leadership disposition within 2 years in turning the moribund company to a better place is worthy of appreciation.
According to the Coordinatorof the program, Dr Sunday Akinbiola said, the leadership of this platform has taken a reach in honouring a leader per-excellence, a highly intellectual personality, a mentor, a role model who has been contributing tremendously towards the development of the nation through the instrumentality of his God’sgiven capacityto deliver .
“The award is a kind of appreciation and encouragement for the services you have rendered towards the development of Our communityespecially in turning around the over 27 years abandoned Okitipupa Oil mill which now provide more jobs to the youth in that community and generating income to the society. You are an outstanding personality.
While giving all glory to God for the award, He dedicated same to God and the entire staff of the Company. According to him, he said this wouldn’t have been possible with the concerted efforts of all.
He promised to continue to do more to alleviate the suffering of our people at any position he so find himself.
